UPDATE: February 6th

Would you race it?

After getting the car clean with some 409, I put a Thick coat of Eagle One Wet Look wax on. A lot of paint came off with the cleaning but, It still has some left. Haha. The results are, in my books, much better. It shines. LOL. This was all the motovation I needed to go to the store and get some black vinal spray paint and do all the molding and door pilars.

I'm in the process of finishing the molding now. Just the center molding and the door pilar are done on this side. I'm gona finish it up this weekend.

Painted Trim

I have put a 190 liter per hour fuel pump in and the fuel pressure stays pegged. No noticable drop in pressure. Car pulls great! I raced my friend's 5.0 that runs 13.90's. I stayed right by his side the whole time. That's with my one legged 225/60/15's against his posi 245/55/16's! If I could hook up in first gear, this thing would Low 13's!

I got one side done here.

I plan to get a newer style dash and gauge cluster from the junkyard. I also plan to find a new Large Vane sensor there too. But I still don't have a gas gauge! The gauges must come first. I'm planing on putting A/C in. I know, I know. But what's a race car without A/C? All i'm missing is the compressor.

I've recently aquired a pin on fiberglass cowl hood which I intend to modify for hinges. It will have 4 tzus fasteners in the nose but, It'll look great.
